Football and the Sabbath

The Super Bowl is coming up! The bad news is it's on Sunday. The Good news is: it's not an excuse to skip church, Since church ends by 4:00 at the latest, and the game doesn't start till 4:30. You can still come partake of the sacrament, renew your covenants, and receive the blessings of the atonement, without missing the game. I'll see you at the chapel.

Love is the way of the disciple

The savior said "If ye love me, keep my commandments." Let us show our love to Him.

We rejoice in Christ

Christ is the head of His church. We should do all we can to follow Him and live His gospel. It is our duty as Christians.

God is Love

Love is the measure of our faith, the inspiration for our obedience, and the true altitude of our discipleship.

Nature and the Spirit

The Spirit is there in many places and is felt in many ways, I have felt it at Church, in homes, and in nature. Being around the creations of God brings a peace, that really makes a difference in my life. How have you felt our Heavenly father's love in your life?

Conversion

2000 Stripling Warriors

Why not pray?

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

I know that our Heavenly Father answers prayers. He has been their for me, and is there for you. We can talk to him anytime, anywhere. Why not pray?

Live as they Lived

We can't just believe in Christ. We can't just know the doctrine. We must live the Gospel.

Him Who knoweth all things

We may not understand why we go through hard times, why certain things happen to us. We may not understand, but we don't know all things. Our Heavenly Father does know all things. Let us put our trust in Him and look forward to good things to come.

Can ye feel so now?

And now behold, I say unto you, my brethren, if ye have experienced a change of heart, and if ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can ye feel so now?
