Something that is available and free for everyone, whether they are LDS or not, is Temple Square. The Spirit of God is always present there. The sister missionaries who serve there can help you understand more about the church and why the temple is so important to us.
Recently My companion and I took an investigator we have been teaching with us to temple square. the sisters gave a great tour. Our investigator gained a greater understanding. If you have the opportunity visit Temple Square!

Natural disasters, family problems, financial struggles. Each of these are prevalent in today's world. As we focus our lives on Christ, we cannot let those around us go without needed assistance. Find someone who is struggling and lend a helping hand.

We are all tempted, we do not always see this temptation and what it will lead to. When we give in to small temptations we move ourselves away from God by degrees, we may not notice until it is too late. Exact obedience to God's commandments is essential.

Many of you have heard of the Book of Mormon, many of you may have read it. Some may be confused as to what it is about. The Book of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ. We are Christian believe it or not. In our church we use the Book of Mormon and the Bible together. In the Book of Mormon we find the fullness of Christ's everlasting gospel. If you haven't read the book of Mormon I invite you to do so. If you have not taken the challenge found in the final chapter in the Book of Mormon (Moroni 10:4-5) do so. I know the book of Mormon is the word of God and that Christ's Church has been restored to the Earth. You can know this for yourself.
Don't let temptations in the door. When you see them shun them as you would someone who threatens your family, because they do. When you yield to temptation you will find no happiness therein. It will affect the way you treat those around you. Be the better Man and turn aside the fiery darts of the Adversary. Help shield those around you as well. The Lord will strengthen you.

Because God loves us he made a plan for all of his children to have a chance to become more like him. To live, to learn, make choices, and to repent when we make the wrong choices. Comment if you want to know more of your Heavenly Father's plan for your happiness.

This is one of my favorite talks from General Conference. Elder Holland talks about holding onto what faith and testimony we have, regardless of how much it is. Don't lose faith. Hold true to the Savior. Each of us needs Christ and his hand is extended out to us. All we need do is believe and take hold.
Christ atoned for our sins, so that we might not suffer if we would repent. In this world there are many spiritual dangers. We must seek the high ground and help and support our families and friends to reach it as well. The high ground can only be reached through living and following the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As missionaries our purpose is to help other come unto Christ. This purpose is not just for missionaries. Everyone needs to help others come unto Christ, for only through him can we be saved.
God has blessed us each with a life here on earth. He has also blessed us with challenges and trials. While many times we may not appreciate the challenges he gives us, they are there for us to learn and grow. With every trial, we can let it beat us or we can come away from it stronger. We are in this life to learn, grow, and become closer to our heavenly father. If we make the most of what God has given us, and help others, we will reach our full potential.
With the State the world is currently in, with its skewed moral compass, each of us needs to maintain and strengthen our faith. What I gained from this video is that having an understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and faith in him can help us through whatever hard times come.
For anyone who is preparing to serve a mission, or if you are no longer sure if you want to go: 1st watch this video. 2nd I can tell you it is definitely worth it. You will learn so much while you are on your mission. you will change, but it will be for the better. you will touch the lives of those who are struggling to find the truth. The Restored Gospel is real. I know it and you can as well. Don't worry about what you leave behind. It is worth it.
Jesus Christ suffered so that we won't have to. This does not mean we get a free pass back to our heavenly father. We still have to live the gospel, follow his commandments, repent when we sin, and "serve him with all our heart, might, mind, and Strength." Christ's atonement made it possible for us to repent, to live again. Always remember the sacrifice he made for you.
Each of us knows the Joy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, or knows someone who does. If you know it share it. If those who have it are not sharing what they believe ask them. The Gospel is for everyone, and everyone needs it. Take the Savior's extended hand and extend your own to someone who needs help.
Each of us has a limitless potential. We all at times make mistakes that would make us fall short of our potential. This is where the Atonement comes into play. When we sin, when we fall to addictions, or transgressions we can repent. Because the savior suffered for all our pains, guilt, and sins. We don't have to if we will repent. Live to your full potential.
The Tender Mercies of the Lord are for everyone. Each blessing he gives us is individually tailored to meet our needs. Our Heavenly Father loves us. He has limitless blessings awaiting us. All we need do is follow his commandments, pray, and turn unto him. I know that as each of you do this you will see his hand in every good thing around you. You will be blessed.
Through Christ's atonement our natures can be changed. No matter what our "natural man" is we can be changed through the atonement. We can't make it alone. We cannot do anything without Christ's help. Turn to him and see his love and the strength he will give you in your life.
