The Importance of Scripture

I know that taking the time to study the scriptures makes each day better. It is such an amazing, underused blessing. Take some time to read your scriptures today.

Walk Uprightly

Walking uprightly before God involves keeping the commandments, and serving our fellow man, basically doing the very best we can, then repenting when we fall short. When we do this, all things shall work together for our good.

The Peace of God

The peace of God is something to be attained only through the Atonement of Christ. How has the Atonement blessed you in your life?

Be ye Thankful

I found this Scripture in my studies this morning and it caused me to think of many of the things I am thankful for. What are you thankful for?

To Change

Christ atoned for our sins because he loves us, but it is up to us whether we accept it in our lives.

Thorns

Many times we let the Thorns (or trials) in our lives halt our journey back to our Heavenly Father. If we put our faith in Christ he will take our thorns and help us keep going.

Fiery darts

And I said unto them that it was the word of God; and whoso would hearken unto the word of God, and would hold fast unto it, they would never perish; neither could the temptations and the fiery darts of the adversary overpower them unto blindness, to lead them away to destruction.
