Pride and Calvin

I am sure that at one point or another we have all allowed Pride to get the better of us, sometimes without even realizing it; President Ezra Taft Benson Taught that "Pride is the universal sin", and like an anchor stops our progression towards God. The opposite of Pride is Humility which is being meek and submissive to God's will. Let us all strive for Humility in our daily lives!

Entering the Temple

Tis a great blessing to see the light of Christ touch lives! Yesterday I was blessed to see a good friend enter the temple. Heavenly Father shows his love for us in so many ways! How has he blessed your life?

Of the Moth

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
There are so many things in this world that distract us from what matters most. Lets make the most of what the Savior has given us! Lets follow Him!

Father's Day

I owe a great deal to my Father. He has taught me some of the important lessons in my life, all by example. Most important he taught me the gospel of Christ from an early age. Thanks Dad!

The Final Transfer

I'm serving my final transfer with Elder Stancliffe in the Hunter west stake. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of success here. Doing all I can to serve The Lord. It is Jesus Christ that makes all things possible.

Changing Lives

The gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives. It has been a great blessing to serve here in granger Stake. I have known and worked with many wonderful people here. Stay on the path back to Him! It is worth it.

A Joyful Burden

Being a disciple isn't easy or popular, but it brings greater happiness than any other way of life. What blessings have you seen from following the Savior?

There are things all around us to avoid for the safety of our souls. What do you do to avoid temptations?

A wise phrase that came from another source, but i learned from my mother. Though I struggle to apply it, a constant effort is required. Forgiveness is worth it!

Mother's Day!

Thanks go out to my Mom for all she has done for me. For teaching me the Gospel and showing by example how to live it. #itwasmom

Each day we need to choose to put on the armor of God, so we can have a defense against the fiery darts of the adversary.

General conference follow up!

General conference has been great thus far. We have heard some inspiring messages, and have felt the spirit testify of truth. May we continue to watch and listen with open hearts to the words of The Lord!

Of Faith and Fortune Cookies

Once more the wise words of the Fortune cookie apply to the Gospel of Christ. We each have a divine potential. To reach it, we need to be diligent in our efforts and have faith to act on what we believe. The Book of Mormon has been key in strengthening my faith in Christ.
